  • John N. SigalosJohn N. Sigalos – President John founded Sigalos & Associates, Ltd. in October, 1985 as a full service General Construction, Construction Management and Design/Build Firm.  Over his 44-year career, John has developed extensive experience in all phases of general construction and construction management.  His excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to relate to Owners, Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors contribute to a successful history of establishing preliminary cost estimates and successfully completing all projects within budget and on schedule.  John ensures that all projects are completed with an extremely high degree of quality and professionalism.  He is very detail-oriented and expects a high degree of professional competence and excellence in every aspect of each project.  This has helped establish Sigalos & Associates, Ltd. as one of the most respected construction firms in Illinois. John is also a board member of the Village of Arlington Heights Building Code Review Board.
  • Carolyn J. Sigalos – Secretary/Treasurer, Chief Financial OfficerWith over 34 years of experience, Carolyn is highly qualified in all phases of corporate financial management, including corporate financial statements, Federal and State tax returns and compilations for annual certified audits. She has excellent skills in construction cost accounting, including the preparation of proposals, monthly job cost reports, weekly payroll spread sheets, quarterly contract progress reports and all union reporting.  Carolyn oversees all areas of office management, and is the Administrator in charge of bonding, insurance and employee benefit plans. Due to Carolyn’s diligences in processing invoices, obtaining partial/final waivers of lien and processing subcontractor/supplier payments, Sigalos & Associates has never had a lien filed on any project.
  • Robert G. DengelRobert G. Dengel – Vice President, Construction ManagementWith over 41 years of experience, Rob is highly qualified in all systems and phases of Design/Build and Construction Management, especially in relating to upper and mid-management levels of the Owner’s Representatives, the Design Team, and all Construction Team Personnel.  He has a proven ability to manage superintendents, project engineers and estimators to fully utilize their skills, and he brings excellent scheduling and project coordination abilities to all projects.  Rob is proficient in the evaluation of materials and systems for cost efficiency, maintenance, appearance and durability, and he is very skilled in the preparation of conceptual and bid package estimates and conceptual facilities operations budgets. Rob explores every avenue to assure that the end product is exactly as the Owner envisioned for the best possible value.
  • Joseph M. MeeganJoseph M. Meegan – Vice President, Field OperationsWith over 28 years of experience, Joe is extremely effective in maintaining construction schedules and circumventing problems before they affect the critical path of construction projects.  He maintains a professional attitude and working environment under challenging construction schedules.  He also has excellent communication skills and conducts jobsite coordination meetings and regular jobsite safety meetings with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors.  Joe is highly proficient in Sure Track project management software, which enables him to produce accurate and current construction schedules.  Joe brings extensive technical skills and outstanding supervisory abilities to every project. Joe has been instrumental in the amount of repeat business that Sigalos & Associates, Ltd. has received through the years, largely due to his onsite supervisory skills.
  • Nicholas J. SigalosNicholas J. Sigalos, LEED AP – Vice President, General ConstructionThroughout his 15-year career, Nick has managed numerous projects throughout all phases of construction. He has excellent communication skills with Architects, Owners and Sub-contractors and is effective in leading pre-construction, progress and punch list meetings. Nick is proficient in preparing estimates for schematic budgets, project bids and changes to the scope of work. He is successful in completing projects on time and under budget and has superior skills in preparing realistic project schedules with the ability to coordinate all trades to meet project milestones. Nick is also a LEED Accredited Professional and can lead Owners and Architects through the design and construction of “green buildings” and the LEED Certification process. Nick acts as the owner’s advocate, and his goal on every project is to exceed the Owner’s expectations.
