This project was a 1,300 sq. ft. interior built-out of an existing unfinished room in the Health & Science Center at the College of DuPage. The
project’s main focus was building out a space that would house a G.E. CT Scanner which was donated to the College by Adventist Hinsdale
Hospital, making them the first community college in the nation to own a CT Scanner. Adjacent to the CT Scan room we built out a new
classroom where students could learn and observe how to operate the CT equipment. The room construction consisted of lead-lined drywall,
lead-lined doors and frames, and leaded glazing, finishes to match other classrooms in the building, a modified fire sprinkler, HVAC and electrical
system, and new lighting.
