Sigalos & Associates, Ltd. provided extensive pre-construction services for this project, including project cost analysis, value engineering recommendations and scheduling input. Although one of the smaller Cantigny projects, Sigalos continues to provide the highest level of pre-construction, construction and post-construction services. The Cantigny Outdoor Education Center consists of approximately 3,000 s.f. of multi-purpose educational space and washroom facilities for outdoor activities. The project includes a rain garden to help mitigate the effects of storm water. The project is situated in a natural prairie/forest setting which was protected during the construction process. Sigalos’ LEED Accredited Professionals assisted in obtaining LEED Gold Certification of the Cantigny Outdoor Education Center.
